March 24: Osceola County, birthday cake at the 4-H Carnival at the Ocheyedan Town Hall

April 2-6: Buchanan County, food pantry drive.

April 15: Boone County State 4-H Camp Project work day

April 16-27: Webster County Plants for the Future tree planting program, county-wide

April 18: Benton County, tree plantings at Central Lutheran School, Newhall, at 2 p.m., and at the Benton County Fairgrounds, Vinton, 6:30 p.m.

April 24: Winneshiek County third grade students from Decorah and North Winneshiek Schools will plant a tree at the Northeast Iowa Dairy Foundation Center at 12 noon.

April 27: Cass County, landscaping project at the fairgrounds in Atlantic, 9 to 11 a.m.

April 28: Jasper County Clean-Up Day for New Center for the Arts building in Newton

May 5: Franklin County, grounds improvement project at the Harriman Nielsen historic farm, Hampton

May 5: Clayton County, tree planting at fairgrounds at National

May 10-12 (rain dates May 17-19): Warren County, mural painting in downtown Indianola

May 10: Jefferson County, landscaping project at newly remodeled Extension Office at the fairgrounds in Fairfield

May 12: Decatur County, work day at Slip Bluff Park near Davis City to install a rail fence

May 14: Butler County, rose garden planting at the Courthouse in Allison at 7 p.m.

May 19: Hardin County, renovation work at Pine Ridge Park near Steamboat Rock

May 19 (rain date): Adams County, Planting a Garden at the historic Icarian Colony site two miles east of Corning, 1 p.m.

May 26: Boone County State 4-H Camp Project work day

June 2: Calhoun County, planting project at Featherstone Park at Twin Lakes north of Rockwell City

June 3: Shelby County, ceremonies at the Shelby County Historical Museum at 11 a.m. unveiling ISU display

June 4: Osceola County, placing Time Capsule and planting a tree at the Osceola County Fairgrounds, Sibley. Commemorative ceremonies at 4:30 p.m.

June 6: Taylor  County, tree planting at 1:30 p.m. at the north entrance to the fairgrounds in Bedford.

June 9-10: Woodbury County, painting the historic Sadler House at the Woodbury County Fairgrounds

June 12: Fayette County Barn Quilt hanging and dedication at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds in West Union

June 14: Buena Vista County, Taste of Storm Lake Celebration, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Court House Lawn

June 16: Poweshiek County tree distribution at fairgrounds in Grinnell

June 20: Hardin County, shower and restroom renovation project at the fairgrounds in Eldora, beginning at 9 a.m.

June 20: Worth County fairgrounds archway project, commemoration ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Northwood.

June 23: West Pottawattamie County, Habitat for Humanity Project, beginning at 7:30 a.m., at Lake Manawa.

June 23: Pocahontas County barn quilt dedication to commemorate ISU's Sesquicentennial. Mid-day ceremony will be part of Pocahontas Hertitage Days, following parade.

June 27: Clarke County Community Diversity Garden field day, commemoration ceremonies between 6:30 and 7 p.m.

June 30: O'Brien County Sneakers Run Trail restoration project at Primghar

July 1: Linn County, Day at the Ballpark at Kernel's Stadium, tailgate party and food drive.

July 13-19: Marion County, Park bench and rest area project at the Marion County Fairgrounds/Knoxville Raceway.

July 13: Mitchell County, landscaping project at new County Services building in Osage, dedication at 4:30 p.m.

July 14: Monona County Ag Museum ceremonies, 5 to 7 p.m., Onawa

July 14: Allamakee County, Barn Survey commemoration, 3 p.m. at the 4-H Building on the Allamakee County Fairgrounds, Waukon

July 14: Mills County, sign installation at Pacific Junction promoting fair, ISU, and 4-H

July 16-20: Chickasaw County, donations of the 150th anniversary book to each library in the county

July 17: Jones County, flagpole plaza project at the Great Jones County Fairgrounds, Monticello, dedication at 8 p.m.

July 18-22: Tama County, historical display at the fairgrounds at Gladbrook

July 21: East Pottawattamie County, food drive, commemoration at 11 a.m. at fairgrounds in Avoca

July 21: Hancock County, prairie planting display at the fairgrounds in Garner, commemoration at 12:30 p.m.

July 21: Van Buren County, picnic tables to be dedicated at the fairgrounds, 2 p.m.

July 19: Palo Alto County Cyclone Club kickoff barbecue at the Palo Alto County Fair in Emmetsburg, 6:15 p.m.

July 20: Worth County, dedication of new main gate archway at the fairgrounds in Northwood

July 21: Wapello County, creation of a diversity garden at the Bridgeview Convention Center in Ottumwa

July 23-29: Jackson County 4-H clubs food pantry collection.

July 24: Lyon County, Fairgrounds Demonstration Garden Tour and ceremonies, 6 p.m.

July 24: Grundy County, Commemorative Ceremonies at the fairgrounds in Grundy Center, 7 p.m.

July 25: Audubon County, dedication ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Audubon County Fairgrounds for a garden planting and barn quilt hanging.

July 27: Sac County, Barn Quilt dedication at the fairgrounds at 4 p.m.

July 28-Aug. 1: Tree dedication at the Lucas County Achievement Show grounds

July 28: Dubuque County, commemorative bench placement and tree planting at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds

July 29: Wayne County, historical display at the county fair in Corydon

July 29- Aug. 2: Dickinson County, activities at the county fair. Commemoration ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Expo Center in Spirit Lake.

July 30: Wright County, fund-raising evening meal for 4-H Museum at Clarion City Park summer music series

Aug. 1: Sioux County will place a marker in Hull, birthplace of Extension in Iowa. A free barbecue will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with commemoration ceremonies at 6:30 p.m.
